From the last few days you must be watching a trailer of an upcoming show of channel V called Sadda Haq, subtitled as my life my choice. And thus after watching the trailer i bet you must be eager to know that what exactly the show Sadda Haq is about. So here’s the trailer, casting, storyline and the timings of the show.
As clear, the trailers do features some funny moments which are set in such a manner that contradicts some common beliefs of Indian traditions. Unlike the Genuine schedules, it shows a man bringing some tea for the girl and her family who had arrived to set up a match for the wedding and not only this, he also literally smiles with some blush and a kind of shyness which are in genuinely supposed to be a girl’s reaction. Also right after that scene, a scene is depicted which shows that a groom after his wedding, is saying good bye to his family with the sadness and the bride sitting next seems to be unaffected and bold.
Well through out this promotional video, in the background some voice effects are given saying “Kyun maan lein ki jo ladkon ka haq hai wo ladkiyon ki had hai? mai kehti hun jab tak hadd nahi paar kroge, haq kaise milega?”. And thus clearly the line depicts that the show is based on a belief that there is nothing like a boundary line between a boy and a girl which would be deciding the different levels or limits of activities allowed to perform by boys and girls. Or in simple words the show supports the belief of equality among genders.
The casting part is not still clearly out in the media but the obvious crew includes Harshita Gaur as the leas actress to play the role of sayunkta Aggarwal. And the famous Indian novelist Durjoy Dutta, who is also knows as per the writter of another popular serial “Veera” (of Starplus).
Well as per according to the trailers, a misconception arises that the serial Sadda Haq would be a reality show depicting the different reality based stories which would set an example about some women who had stepped out of the comfort line of traditions and got successful in achieving the dreams which they had set for their life.
However it is not true as this show is again a daily soap but with a genuine and brilliant idea. Well the show revolves around a normal girl Sayunkta Aggarwal who is from a typical Indian family with their conservative beliefs that a Man is dominant and a kind of everything, whereas the women are born to be a daughter,a sister,a mother and a wife. But contradicting their family beliefs, Sayunkta Aggarwal enters the story. She is a brilliant and curious girl with the modern beliefs and thinking. She had a great interest in the machines and the robot parts and thus decides to do Mechanical Engineering in her future.
Of course initially it would be a difficult task for her to join a engineering college specially with such a kind of typical family. But the story does not ends here only as the main hardships starts when she got successful to get admission in the premier college of engineering but with the male dominance as there are only 10% females in the whole college. And if focusing towards the boys, than this time channel V has came up with a real messy boys stuff including the teasing and objectifying of women, judging women, abusing freely, talking about the sex freely and all other similar activities. And thus disintegrating between many groups of girls and boys and also the sub-groups within the former groups.
Well rest the casting the theme and the cinematography is still a surprise. The question is that how will Sayunkta manage to survive such atmosphere specially after coming from the family of such conservative members. Well whatever happens rest, one thing is clear the the show must become an addition to the one’s wishlist and will definitely would be exciting to watch to.
The show would be starting from from 25th November 2013. However the timings are not clear but the show will come in the place of either Suvreen guggal or crazy stupid ishq as they both are probably getting to the end sooner or later.
